Singularities of São Carlos is a research center dedicated to the study of singularities and their connections with Geometry, Topology, and Dynamical Systems. Composed of researchers from the ICMC and the Department of Mathematics at UFSCar, the group maintains national and international collaborations, promoting theoretical advances and applications in various areas of Mathematics. In addition to research, the group organizes international scientific events and regular seminars, regularly hosts visitors from several countries, supervises undergraduate and graduate students, and includes postdoctoral researchers as active members of the team.
