Mini-course “Introduction to bi-Lipschitz geometry”
Lecturer: Zbigniew Jelonek, Institute of Mathematics of the Polish Academy of Sciences, Poland
Abstract: We show basic properties of bi-Lipschitz (b.L) mappings between semi-algebraic (subanalytic sets): 0) Tangent cones and their properties, 1) B.L mappings preserve tangent cones, 2) B.L mappings preserve regularity of complex varieties, 3) Algebraic B.L mappings, 4) Extension of B.L mapping, 5) Application to the metric version of the Zariski Multiplicity Conjecture
