International Workshop on Real and Complex Singularities 2026
An international conference convened biennially by the São Carlos Singularities Center, traditionally hosted at the end of July. Widely recognized as the foremost event in the field of real and complex singularities and their applications.
19th International Workshop on Real and Complex Singularities

Singularities Webinar
It is held regularly throughout the year in an online format, typically on a biweekly basis. Its sessions have included the participation of external collaborators, as well as graduate students and postdoctoral researchers.

Universal Project CNPq
- Vigência: 2017 - Present
- Descrição: This project falls within the areas of homological algebra, commutative algebra, and singularity theory. Its main goal is to solve unresolved problems related to modules and commutative rings, using tools from homological algebra. In addition, we aim to characterize Cohen–Macaulay modules or rings, K-algebras, and to develop effective principles for classifying and recognizing their structure. This will be achieved through the study of homological algebra, more specifically through local cohomology/homology and its numerical invariants.
